Actuation - Conversion

The title for this exhibition is a riff on "action & reaction" or "cause & effect." All the pieces in this body of work have some force (or process) acting on a material to cause permanent change. Metal being changed by oxidation, paper being changed by metal, columns being hollowed into body shapes, metal being formed by compression, etc.
